Who is Bulin 47?
Bulin 47 is an urban and dembow artist from the Dominican Republic. Dembow is the fast, percussive Dominican cousin of reggaeton, built for dancing and for short lines people repeat, which is a big part of why it travels so well on TikTok and Reels.
The freestyle with Kevin Wai put the name in front of a much wider audience, far beyond the dembow scene, and turned one street moment into a trend people are still remixing.
The original Bulin 47 freestyle video
On October 1, 2026, the creator Kevin Wai posted an Instagram Reel shot outside a restaurant in Spain. Kevin walks up to Bulin 47 holding a portable speaker that plays a dembow beat, and instead of brushing it off, Bulin 47 starts freestyling on the spot.
The frame is vertical. Bulin 47 stands in the center in a pink shirt and black sunglasses, Kevin holds the speaker, and a small crowd gathers to watch. The reel was published as a collaboration between both accounts, with the audio credited as original audio.
How the Bulin 47 AI version started
Once a clip is this recognizable, people start remixing it. Creators used AI video tools to replace Bulin 47 in the center of the frame with someone else while keeping everything else: the speaker, the crowd, the street, the camera and the timing. Footballers, friends and fictional characters all showed up in the lead role.
That is what "Bulin 47 AI" means in searches and hashtags: the original freestyle with a new face and outfit in the middle. The joke works because everything except the singer stays exactly the same.
